/ Site Dedications

This website, and my groovy trip on this planet, wouldn't be possible without the help, influence, and contributions of others. I'd like to thank several of these people here and provide a little information on how they have helped me along the way.
This website project is dedicated first and foremost to my parents. I wouldn't be here without them, both literally, and figuratively. While I had an often challenging relationship with both of them, I love them very much and miss spending time with them. They were such an incredible influence on my life, and I find it fascinating how even over the decades, I still catch myself with one of their characteristics.
My mom's parents, Gunder and Jane, were a big part of my life growing up. I spent hundreds of glorious childhood days working and playing on my grandparent's dairy farm in southern Wisconsin. They say personality traits often skip a generation, and I have been often told that I am very much like my Grandpa Gunder, with a good mix from my parents too.
My dad's parents lived the upscale, golf country club life near Rockford, Illinois. It was a longer drive than to my other grandparent's farm, but we visited them quite often. My grandmother had a sharp sense of humor. I got my name from my dad, who got his name from father. While I am Raymond Churchill Bangs III, I am Raymond Bangs VII. Lucky number seven.
